TRANS BOUNDARY LANDSCAPES:CONDITIONS AND PLANNING
Chair: Nodar Elizbarashvili
Co-chair: Heino Meessen
The session will discuss the geographical features of trans boundary landscapes, their current state and planning problems. Such landscapes are of great importance not only for international cooperation but also for the formation of a network of protected areas and the prevention of environmental problems. The identification of trans boundary landscapes, the analysis of their use features, the study of the natural and cultural values presented here, is a new scientific challenge for landscape geography.
